Finished Chapter 3 of new book! I'm really pumped about this one! It seems as if my characters are really coming alive. I think that is the cool thing about a book series. Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year!

I had a good day at the picnic. Pretty hot, though. Getting ready to leave for family barbque. Tonight, I'm taking a cool bath and relaxing, I may even write a little. (Yay) I hope everyone else is having a blessed summer.

Please use that as it is forwarded to my email that I check regularly. I unfortunately get busy and do not check in on this blog as often as I should. 

 

So that being addressed, it has been sort of hectic around here lately. My son graduated from high school, we got a new puppy and I have been working on my book. Now all the craziness has died down and maybe I can get back to some things that haven't received much attention from me.

I hope your holiday season wasn't as hectic as mine was. We're through it anyway. I need to get back to writing. I got bummed out for a while, everyone says that there are too many romance novels out there right now with vampires in them. (Cursed Twilight!) I keep saying that mine is a little different, but they don't seem convinced. Oh well, I'll just keep at it. My book is more about my heroine, she just happens to have a colorful love life! Well keep in touch, I'll get it together someday!

November update

I hope everyone had a wonderful Samhain. We sure did. We had a bonfire, set up the quarters, fed the ancestors, and roasted hot dogs. My kids had some friends over who were curious as to how Wiccans celebrate, so part of the night was an educational session. I think they were surprised to see how simple our celebration was. My daughter and I did some gazing into the fire and I personally felt some peace. I think this year is going to be better for us, I hope it is for you too!

I seem to have reached a block in writing my novel, but I am flipping ideas around in my head. I think I might self-publish when I'm finished, so check back on the page titled, Kiss of the Blue Moon. When I do, I'll put a link there for anyone interested in purchasing. 

Work has been keeping me pretty busy, but I am currently doing some research for myself. I'm hoping this leads to a new page.

I finally got the redes and laws page updated. The host was in the middle of a migration and I couldn't edit! I upgraded my account, so good news! No more ads! I want to thank all of you for the great comments. I have been terribly busy with work, writing my book, (see Kiss of the Blue Moon) and generally just trying to keep my life together. 

 

I hope all of you are making it in this crappy economy. I have money issues too. I try to thank the Goddess every day for what i do have. Remember that a "thank you" has more power than a want. So, thank her every day for the blessings that you have and more will come your way!

It's been way too long since I checked in here. Hope I'm forgiven. I have a lot on my plate. I hope the new year brings everyone good blessings.

I just thought I would drop in and give a few updates. I have included some information about Samhain on the Wheel of the Year page. I am also happy to report that my new cat, Cujo, (named by my children) is about six months old now and is turning into a beautiful tom cat. He is a little furrier than most and solid black except for a patch on his belly that is only visible if you turn him over. I think he may actually be my familiar and I am happy about that. He comes only when I call him and sometimes I wake up to find him just sitting and watching me sleep. He definitely rules the household, even the dogs know he is in charge. I had to delete my email address from the site because of abuse from automatic mailers. So, please, if you have a question or comment do it here and I will do my best to respond. I hope you had a wonderful Mabon and I wish you a Blessed Samhain. If you have some Samhain traditions that you would like to share, please post them here it helps those that are new to the craft to find their own traditions.
